Now that we have established a framework for understanding the structure of narrative, we can examine the details of its components. My aim is to direct a story that incorporates a user's actions. Therefore, it is the structure of a story's action that is of the most interest to us here. Among others, the important features of a story's action have been examined by Aristotle, Freytag, Propp, and Chatman.
